Sunday School & Nursery.

The Nursery opens for our youngest members (infants through age 2) at 9:45 AM during the 10:00 AM worship service. Nursery coordinators are on hand to greet parents and explain the procedure for checking in and picking up your child.

Preschool, K, 1&2:  Our youngest students Preschool, K, 1&2 learn about the Gifts of the Magi, Jesus at the Temple and Jesus Baptism this January.

GRADES 3&4, 5&6: Older students grades 3&4, 5&6 learn the 10 Commandments-there are rules! God is #1 and Sunday is Sacred this month.

Make a Difference (MAD) News

MAD Students meet today to learn, rally and respond to help victims of the tornadoes, wildfires and other natural disasters through the UCC fund. Steve Buck has graciously crafted a wooden bowl for the group to use for donations. Share your time, talents and treasure for those in need. Help our MAD kids Make a Difference by placing a special offering in our Magical, Missional Ministry Bowl.

Confirmation meets on January 30th & February 6 at 11:30AM.

ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS.

Craig Plummer is offering his College Planning Seminar JANUARY 30 at 11:30 in Room 10.  This seminar is for highly motivated sophomores and juniors in high school and their parents.  Come!  Get started on the ins and outs of the college touring, admissions and application process gleaning invaluable information to chart your course to your future.  The Christian Formation Board is offering lunch at no cost to students and parents, pandemic permitting.  Please email LeeAnne Steenhoek at [email protected] or call the church office at 882-4861 to reserve your spot no later than January 27th.  You will want to learn everything you can from Craig’s extensive experience as a high school guidance counselor and professional consultant.  Families pay top dollar for expertise such as this and Craig generously offers his time and knowledge as a gift of service as a member of First Church.  Pre-registration for this free luncheon seminar is a must.
