Moment to Pause and Wonder with the Oak
Look at this magnificent oak with deep roots and branches climbing to the sky.
What does she know?
What does she feel as sap flows through her and each leaf blossom receives and restores the breath of life?
What might it feel like to nestle into her trunk and roots or branches for a snooze?
How high can you climb in your mind?
How about with your limbs and surefooting as you scale through her branches?
Can you balance your body in her branches with a book?
How many senses do you use to understand the mighty oak?
How does the mighty oak perceive you? Bless and be blessed, we are all participants in God’s creation.
