CHRISTMAS AT FIRST

This beloved choral and orchestra tradition happens on 3^rd Advent this season (based on where Christmas Eve itself lands on the 2023 calendar). The rousing “classical-contemporary” Oratorio MAGNIFICAT, penned by composer Nicholas White, makes it second appearance in this festival service marking 16 seasons, and features the Chancel Choir of The First Church of Nashua, and Music at First’s own Janet Poisson, soprano– as the soloist. Conducted by First Music’s Artistic Director and Minister of Music of The First Church Joseph R. Olefirowicz: Muddy Brook Brass along with additional organ and percussion complete the orchestration of this memorable music offered in worship, appropriate for the whole family at 9 and 11AM on Sunday, December 17.
