- Theme Introduction – A short reflection sets the stage for the evening’s topic.
- Table Conversation – Small group discussion invites listening and storytelling without pressure or judgment.
- Group Reflection – We hear from one another, share what surprised us, and leave with fresh perspectives.
- Themes explore life’s paradoxes—questions we all wrestle with, even if our answers differ:

In a world where we can be “connected” online but still feel isolated, angry even disillusioned, First Church is creating a space to slow down, share a meal, and have real conversations that matter. Connections Café is an 8-week gathering designed to help us explore life’s essential experiences—belonging, love, purpose, heartbreak, hope—in a safe, welcoming space where everyone’s voice is heard and valued.
You don’t have to be a member of First Church—or of any church—to join. Whether you’ve lived in Nashua for decades or just arrived last month, whether you’re searching for deeper meaning or simply miss genuine conversation, Connections Café is a place where you belong, and your story matters.
Meals are provided at both gatherings. All are welcome—no need to dress up, no need to prepare answers, just bring an open heart and a listening ear.
