First Fridays at First

February 11th’s “mini” Organ Recital with Mary Jodice, organ Director of Music at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, Marblehead MA

The First Music Concert Series invites you to six “mini” organ recital offerings in addition to our Sunday music outreach programs. Recitals will be on the first Friday of the month and will begin at 12:15PM
Regional organists will perform FREE 30-minute programs on our 4000 pipe, 1926 Anderson Memorial Organ-each designed to replenish the soul with beautiful music for the workday or to get the weekend off to a great start.

MARY JODICE, organ – is the Director of Music at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in Marblehead, Massachusetts where she has not only grown the adult choir and established a concert series, but also started and nurtured a chorister program, in addition to serving as conductor of the professional Jubilate Chamber Choir, currently in residence at Saint Andrews.As a sought-after collaborative keyboard artist in the Boston area, Ms. Jodice plays several concerts annually.

Mary has a Master’s Degree from the Longy School of Music at Bard College in music and organ performance. Her teachers have included Libor Dudas, Douglas Major, and Ronald Arnatt. She has studied choral conducting in England many summers both in courses and private study.
Mary Jodice also works at the prestigious Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts as a choral conductor, and as head of Chapel Music.
