Virtuosa concert organist Isabelle Demers comes down to Nashua from Montreal. A native of Québec, Ms. Demers is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music and currently serves as Associate Professor of Organ at McGill University. Works by J. S. Bach and Rachel Laurin will round out a program which will also include organ transcriptions of John William’s Star Wars Suite and Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. This incredible program- hosted in collaboration with Phillip Truckenbrod Concert Artists– promises a complete tour-de-force on the historic, symphonic 4,000 pipe Anderson Memorial Organ from 1926. The instrument, built by Austin Organ Company of Hartford, Connecticut, was restored and expanded in 2015. Join us, on Sunday March 10 at 3PM! Underwritten by the Friends of First Music.
