FIRST MUSIC welcomes the contemplative Lenten season with a unique offering for our entire region; highly-acclaimed English concert organist and Artist-in-Residence at Washington National Cathedral Jeremy Filsell will perform a rare complete reading of the haunting Marcel Dupré “Stations of the Cross” – which depict through music, “stations” of Christ’s final journey on this earth, with beloved imagery held in esteem by the Christian Church for centuries. This ecumenical offering is open to all. Meditative readings by Paul Claudel, translated from their original French, will enhance the offering. Underwritten by the Huber Family Trust.
