Rev. Jami invites you to come watch this documentary chronicling the life and work of spiritual teacher and yogi, Ram Dass (1931-2019), named so after a spiritual awakening in India in the late 1960’s. Formerly known as Dr. Richard Alpert, eminent Harvard psychologist, Alpert worked with fellow professor Timothy Leary conducting the controversial Harvard Psilocybin Project. This film represents Ram Dass’ teaching and life as a bridge between Eastern and Western philosophies. This is a 2019 production that runs 1 hour and 21 minutes. The movie will be shown in Fellowship Hall.
