How Do You Define Outreach?
Outreach can be described in many ways, but at its heart, it is simple:

“Outreach is the act of reaching beyond ourselves to offer support, care, and resources to those who might otherwise go without.”

We see outreach in everyday moments—offering food, shelter, companionship, and care. But the most lasting outreach is built on something deeper: creating and sustaining spaces where that care can happen every single day.

At First Church, our buildings are not just structures—they are essential tools for ministry.  The care, maintenance, and capital improvements of our properties at 3, 5, and 7 Concord Street directly impact the lives of those served by our nonprofit partners. When our buildings are strong, safe, and well-maintained, organizations like The Front Door Agency, Family Promise, and the Nashua Music School are able to focus fully on their mission—serving those in need.

Because of your support, we can offer these partners below-market rents. That means more of their funding goes directly to housing families, feeding neighbors, and providing critical services—not to overhead costs. Every improvement we make to our buildings becomes an investment in their work.

Quite simply: when we invest in our buildings, we invest in people.

Our Capital Campaign is about more than bricks and mortar. It is about strengthening the very foundation that allows outreach to flourish. It ensures that our church can continue to serve as a reliable, welcoming hub for ministries that change lives—today and for generations to come.

Without these improvements, both the church and our partners would face increasing challenges—diverting time, energy, and resources away from the people who need them most. With them, we create stability, opportunity, and growth.

As you consider your gift, we invite you to see it not just as a donation, but as a direct contribution to the work happening within these walls every day. Your generosity helps sustain a space where lives are changed, hope is restored, and community is built.

Outreach is not just something we do—it is something we make possible. And with your support, we can continue to make it stronger than ever.
